Good Morning Father Avocoli, fellow classmates, teachers, and parents. I am
your Student Council President for the 2013 to 2014 school year. I will be a strong
leader for our school. The Student Council should show respect, responsibility, and
service. Respect is listening to what others have to say and letting them speak up. We
should respect everyone around us including our teachers and our classmates. Respect
can be as simple as opening a door for someone or saying good morning to your
teachers. Those little deeds that we don't even think about can really brighten up a
person's day. As President I will respect every student, teacher and idea brought to my
attention. The Student Council will set an example for everyone in the school. We will
show kindness, integrity, and equality. We will be role models in how we act and what
we say.
Another important area that is important to the Student Council is Responsibility.
Responsibility is not only handing your work in, but acting in the correct manner and
being accountable for your actions. The Student Council will be conscientious around
the school, show leadership and be engaged in tasks that we will accomplish. I will take
it upon my self to be reliable, easy to talk to, and trustworthy. I believe I am a
dependable and honest person and will be a responsible President. The Student
Council will be in charge of dances, student council day, bake sales, a few service
