follow the steps below using the attached worksheet

Honors Courses receive an
additional weighting of .5
AP Courses receive an additional

**Please note: Students who earn a 97-
100 in an Honors or AP level course will
gain an additional .2 points to the
weighting.

List of all of your classes

List your WH final grade from the 100 point scale

Convert to the College Board scale equivalent non-weighted (4.0 point
scale)

Add appropriate weight to Column 3 for AP and Honors if applicable. OR
If not an AP or Honors course, then carry over grade from Column 3.
a. AP (up to a 96): Add 1.0 to Column 3 score
b. AP (97-100): Add 1.2 to Column 3 score (because an A+ now gets
an extra .2 weight)
c. Honors (up to a 96): Add .5 to Column 3 score
d. Honors (97-100): Add .7 to Column 3 score (because an A+ now
gets an extra .2 weight)
e. Not AP or Honors: list same as Column 3

List number of credits the class is worth
f. Half-year course: 2.5 credits
g. Full-year course: 5.0 credits

Multiply Column 4 and Column 5 to fill in column 6

Weighted GPA: Total(Sum) column 5 and column 6, then Divide the
SUM of column 6 by the SUM of column 5 (put in bottom right cell)
