A Guide to Services in Alabama

Alabama’s Child Support Enforcement Program is a Federal, State and

local partnership designed to get your child the financial and medical support

he or she deserves. The Program can assist in paternity establishment,

location of parents, obtaining an order for support, enforcement and collection

of support. Our goals are to ensure that children have the financial support of

both their parents, to foster responsible behavior towards children, and to

reduce welfare costs. New laws and enforcement tools each year give the
