Basic Banjo Chords in G Tuning
A Little Explanation:
This page contains the chord dia-
grams for the most common banjo
chords in G tuning.
If you need a little more explana-
tion, or if you need help getting
your banjo in tune, just pop over to
my free banjo lessons website at:
(free bluegrass style lessons)
or
(free clawhammer style lessons)
I suggest the G, C major, D7 and
E minor since they are pretty easy
and are played a lot!
Once you can form them pretty well
go visit my Jam Session Survival
Kit website
which lists the chord progressions
for the top 50 most-played blue-
grass songs and instrumentals.
That will give you a huge advan-
tage when you sit in with your first
jam session.
Happy pickin’ and I hope you have
a lot of fun!
